That bike collecting dust in your garage could become a young rider’s first mountain bike.
The Panther Re-Cycle Program collects donated bicycles, parts, tools, riding gear, and equipment. Whenever possible, we repair and reuse these items to help remove the financial barriers that prevent young people from experiencing everything cycling has to offer.
DONATE BIKES, PARTS OR EQUIPMENT
Mountain biking can be expensive. A growing rider may need a larger bike. A broken derailleur can end someone’s season. Even basic equipment such as a helmet, hydration pack, or repair kit can place additional pressure on a family’s budget.
Many of these items already exist in garages and storage rooms throughout our community. The Panther Re-Cycle Program connects those unused resources with young riders who can put them back to work.
Instead of letting good equipment collect dust, we give it another purpose—and another trail.
Mountain bikes, youth bikes, frames, and bicycles that may need reasonable repairs.
Wheels, tires, tubes, drivetrains, pedals, saddles, handlebars, brakes, suspension components, and other usable bicycle parts.
New or gently used helmets, cycling shoes, gloves, hydration packs, protective equipment, jerseys, shorts, and eyewear.
Bike stands, hand tools, floor pumps, repair kits, lubricants, sealant, cleaning supplies, and shop equipment.
Bike racks, tents, tables, storage containers, coolers, generators, and other equipment that can support practices, races, clinics, and community events.

Community members, local businesses, bike shops, and cycling organizations donate unused bicycles, parts, tools, and equipment.
Our coaches, volunteers, and community partners inspect donated items and determine what can be safely repaired, reused, or repurposed.
Usable equipment is placed back into the cycling community by supporting Panther Composite athletes, team programming, and opportunities to introduce more young people to riding.
A donated bicycle is more than a collection of parts.
It can be a young rider’s first practice, first trail, first race, or first real sense of belonging to a team. It can help a family say “yes” to an opportunity that might otherwise be financially out of reach.
Every donation helps us make cycling more accessible while teaching our athletes the value of service, responsibility, sustainability, and taking care of the equipment that takes care of them.
Not every donated item will go directly onto an athlete’s bike. Some items may be used for replacement parts, mechanical education, team equipment, fundraising, or other activities that support Panther Composite’s mission.
Equipment that cannot be safely reused will be handled responsibly whenever appropriate recycling options are available.
Our goal is simple: make the greatest possible impact with every donation entrusted to the program.

We will respond to discuss whether the donation fits the program and coordinate a convenient way to receive it.
